Go Green

Calpine Group has been in the forefront of creating a culture of environmental responsibility among citizens. As a part of this social responsibility, Calpine has taken up many initiatives in its Go Green campaign.

As a part of Calpine’s efforts towards contributing to the environment, we have created a garden at our CSEZ office premises. Having plants and flowers can obviously look nice, but moreover they will provide immense relief to your mind when you are stressed up. The maintenance of the garden at the office premises gives a lot of happiness to our employees and is always one of the things that they look forward to as a means of relaxation from their daily routine of tasks.

Cycling is an excellent exercise as well as the most energy efficient form of transportation ever invented. Cycling has virtually no carbon footprint and hence is environment friendly. Calpine has vowed to promote the use of cycling as a means to promote environment. We have provided cycles for the employees of Calpine located in CSEZ premises. Calpine has also contributed to Athi’s bicycle club located in Infopark the event was inaugurated by IT Minister of Kerala, Mr. PK. Kunhalikutty on 05th June 2013. We strongly believe that the use of cycles would help the employees to better appreciate the nuances of our natural environment.
